Two men appeared in court today in connection with the murder of a missing schoolgirl - with one charged with having sex with her corpse.

Teenager Paige Chivers was just 15 years old when she vanished from her home in Bispham, Blackpool, in August 2007 after a family row.Since then, there have been no corroborated sightings of her and no contact with her family or friends and her body has never been found.Robert Ewing, 59, was today charged with murder and intending to pervert the course of justice.

Report reached us that the boy were later arrested and  now  in Police custody.

    Former Abia State Governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has called on  the incumbent governor of the state, Chief Theodore  Orji to  re-direct his energy towards the development of the state rather than continuously hold his government (which lasted from 1999 to 2007) responsible for whatever political and socio-economic setbacks the state is currently experiencing.
Kalu, who spoke with aviation correspondents in Lagos said it had become so important for him to speak up on the poor governance and the degenerating state of infrastructure in Abia State given recent attacks on his person by the incumbent government which tended to create the impression or perception to the public that he was responsible for all the noticeable flaws or crisis in the state and hence should not barred from functioning effectively in the affairs of the PDP in Abia State.
