A 60year old in Abuja allegedly rape a 3-year-old daughter of his employer and recording the indecent act on his phone.He is currently in police custody

The 60year old man who has become a grandfather whose name was given as Zubeiru, is telling the police why he undertook such a venture and having a record of his shameful deed for keeps.

On how he was arrested, the police informed that two weeks
after the act, some housemaids who work in the same home
where the man guards, borrowed Zubeiru’s mobile phone to
listen to music and watch movies. After playing music, the
ladies watched the video recordings on the phone and
stumbled on the sordid clip.

In Enugu state: Man Beats Pregnant Wife To Death

 Mr. Ozoemena Nwankwo has been arrested for allegedly beating his pregnant wife, Ndidi Nwankwo, to death.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ebere Amaraizu, the incident occurred around 10pm on October 17 at Nwankwo’s residence in Akpawfu village, Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. Nwankwo, who was described as a chronic wife-beater, beat up Ndidi, who was four months pregnant, until she lost consciousness.

Zambian Labour minister sued by Dangote over bribe claim

Africa's richest man Aliko Dangote's company in Zambia, Dangote Industries Zambia is suing the country's Labour Minister, Fackson Shamenda, for defamation.

According to AFP, the company initiated the lawsuit after the mr Shamenda claimed that a senior company official of Dangote Industries tried to bribe him.

The company is now seeking unspecified damages for slander and libel as well as special damages in the sum of 112,042.84 kwacha ($17,728), according to documents filed in the High Court.

ISIS magazine claims group has enslaved and sold Yazidi kids and women

A magazine purportedly published by the Islamic State group says that militants have captured, enslaved and sold Yazidi women and children, confirming allegations that have been made against the group for months.

The claim came as Human Rights Watch said Sunday that hundreds of Yazidi men, women and children from Iraq are being held in makeshift detention facilities in Iraq and Syria by the group, commonly known as ISIS.

Fuel Tanker Falls Kills Mother & Children, Many Others in Ibadan

Tragedy struck in Ibadan yesterday evening when a petrol tanker fell at Molete under bridge, spilling its contents which instantly caught fire.

In the resulting inferno, many people, including a mother and two of her children, were said to have lost their lives, according to a report by Tribune.

Many others, who ran for cover inside their shops were also said to have been consumed by the fire, while many vehicles, motor bikes and some buildings in the area were destroyed.

The driver of the tanker was said to have been trapped in the fire.

Many other persons, especially commuters waiting to board cabs and buses at the Molete under bridge, also sustained varying degrees of burns.

Eyewitnesses said the tanker was coming from Challenge area.

Its driver, it was said, was complaining loudly about brake failure before the vehicle fell and spilled its contents, resulting in damages and loss of lives.

Texas health care worker has tested positive for Ebola

A health care worker at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital who provided care for Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan, who died last week, has tested positive for Ebola in a preliminary test, authorities said this Sunday.

The health care worker reported having a fever Friday night and was hospitalized, isolated and referred for testing within 90 minutes, the chief clinical officer for the hospital group said at a press conference.

Cyclone Hudhud hammers India’s eastern seaboard, 3 dead

VISAKHAPATNAM India (Reuters) – Cyclone Hudhud blasted India’s eastern seaboard on Sunday with gusts of up to 195 kilometres an hour (over 120 mph), uprooting trees, damaging buildings and killing at least three people despite a major evacuation effort.

The port city of Visakhapatnam, home to two million people and a major naval base, was hammered as the cyclone made landfall, unleashing the huge destructive force it had sucked up from the warm waters of the Bay of Bengal.

Upended trees and wreckage were strewn across Visakhapatnam, known to locals as Vizag. Most people heeded warnings to take refuge, but three who ventured out were killed.
